Perfectly timed with New York Fashion Week, Rootstein unveils its latest collection “Bag Lady.” Bag Lady will debut in the windows of Bloomingdale’s iconic 59th Street flagship in New York. The new mannequins will be displayed among a much larger installation of realistic Rootstein mannequins in the retailer’s windows, women’s ready-to-wear, and designer departments. The presentation will also carry over to Bloomingdale’s Soho.
Rootstein’s “Bag Lady” is chic, young, energetic, and on-the-go. This accessories-focused mannequin collection is made up of five relaxed yet highly elegant poses, starring Rootstein’s newest face Alex Rose. The young model, a rising star on the New York Fashion scene, joins a vast repertoire of icons immortalized: Twiggy, Pat Cleveland, Anna Cleveland, Beyonce, Agyness Deyn, Coco Rocha, and even Barbie. Each mannequin pose is designed to showcase a specific product such as a clutch, shoulder bag, sunglasses, belt, and lipstick & compact, and be further styled with an assortment of accessories. The collection also offers a flat foot option, as well as the ability to customize any pose with a sculpted or abstract head.
With the return to more elaborate store visual concepts including the use of realistic mannequins, and the undying popularity of a statement bag, Bag Lady has arrived. The installation will remain in Bloomingdale’s through the end of February. The complete collection is currently available for pre-order.
